Pilates Movement Therapy is suitable for not just dancers but ALL PEOPLE! Most people seeking to begin Pilates do so because they want to reduce their pain, improve their mobility and gain strength and flexibility.

what is the class like?

Studio sessions with imPruve Pilates consist of no more than two clients at a time. Each client has their own individual program suited to their individual needs. Each session runs for 1 hour.

Meet your therapist

Prue discovered the benefits of the Pilates Method while studying for her Diploma of Dance Teaching. She was amazed by her reduced back pain, increased balance and improved dance technique.

Prue has a Diploma of Pilates Movement Therapy from the Australian Pilates Method Association and has been assisting dancers and non dancers to improve their lives through pain reduction and management for the past 11 years.

the studio and bookings

The imPruve Pilates studio is located in Belgrave, in the Dandenong Ranges in Melbourne Australia.

The studio is open during school hours by appointment only.

New mothers are welcome to bring their babies to their sessions as well as older children that are able to be entertained (some toys supplied)

Secure bookings can me made through Square, Paypal or in cash.

The studio is also home to two very fluffy cats that like to also be a part of the session, therefore the studio is not suited to clients with cat allergies.

pelvic floor strengthening

This 3 session course will teach you about the anatomical function of the pelvic floor muscles, and how to strengthen the muscles for improved health. Strengthening the pelvic floor can reduce incontinence or bladder weakness, close abdominal separation, reduce lower back pain, and improve balance.

This course is held in person at the MoThs Hub in Belgrave.
